Ok, I have to admit it wasn't easy to find much going on this weekend in Phoenix. Hopefully you can get out of the heat or have fun in water of some sort to cool off.
Be sure to check out the www.AZActiveKids.com restaurant page for all the great Kids Eat FREE programs. If you know of any that need to be updated or added, please send me an email.
Also, I'm always looking for other Preschools to add to our list, so if your child attends a wonderful school not listed, please send me the info and website and we'll get it added to the list.
And, thanks Melinda for the FREE portrait package info which I added below. It's a great deal if you can have enough restraint to go and ONLY get the FREE portraits ;)

Size Up Some Animals
On the third Saturday of each month (except December) 11am, the Phoenix Zoo goes to Changing Hands Bookstore with animals! -- from fur to feathers, scales to exoskeletons, you'll discover amazing secrets and hear stories that reflect their personalities. While they don't know exactly which critters will surprise you at each event, they do know you'll have fun.
They'll read a tale of an insect who tried to pick fights with animals of different shapes and heights. Since animals come in all different sizes, this month's tails should be full of surprises.
