FAMILY EVENT - PHOENIX ZOO ANIMAL TAILS! Feb. 20th 11AM-NOON Representatives from the Phoenix Zoo bring some animal friends to help us explore Arizona. We'll meet some critters that live in the desert, and figure out where you can go to explore on your own!
FAMILY EVENT - SCIENCE STORYTIME Feb. 27th 11AM-1PM Representatives from the Arizona Science Center visit for some sweet-"heart" fun! Scottsdale's Sunday A'Fair This Sunday Now in its 23rd season, Sunday A’Fair is a free afternoon mini-festival that takes place on the beautiful grounds of the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall, adjacent to the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. The event features concerts and performances by the Valley’s top entertainers, a diverse selection of arts and crafts available for sale, hands-on activities for children and families and free docent-guided tours of the sculptures on the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall. Seating is available on the lawn, and portable chairs and picnic baskets are welcome. Delicious food and beverages from Arcadia Farms are also available for purchase.
Noon – 1:15 p.m. DJ Shane Kennedy 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. Khani Cole Acclaimed vocalist and recording artist Khani Cole charms audiences with her soulful blend of pop and jazz.
Elmo turns three years old in February and we are celebrating with a special storytime at Borders. Elmo will be stuck on Sesame Street for his birthday but we will have a great time reading Sesame Street stories and making a fun art project! Kids ages 2-7 are invited to join in on the fun! NOTE: This is NOT a costume character event.
